Soup: it’s what’s for dinner! As the days grow shorter and cooler, it’s great to have command of a few warm and nourishing soup recipes in your home cookbook. Soup stores well in a freezer, plays nice with other leftovers and you can layer flavor to your heart’s content. In this class we will use seasonal and locally sourced ingredients to show you how to make broth and full bodied vegetable soups in a reasonable amount of time. This is a hands on class, please wear closed toe comfortable shoes and tie long hair back. We will sample the soups we make, but will not serve a complete meal.
Class is for adults but teenagers may attend with a parent or guardian present.
Everyone is welcome, this class is designed mainly for clients who access Spokane area food banks.
