Volunteer Spotlight: Tom Dadson

February 19, 2016

Tom Dadson is in February’s Kitchen Volunteer Spotlight! Tom has been a great volunteer, and is one of the first to take on the role as Head Chef and leading cooking classes on his own.

Tom’s passion for volunteering in the Second Harvest Kitchen comes from wanting to teach people how to cook and share his cooking knowledge. He has been taking several cooking classes through the Inland Northwest Culinary Academy.  He believes that teaching clients scratch cooking skills will help promote health, independence, and enthusiasm about food.

Join Tom and our other Kitchen Volunteers out in the Kitchen and community. We are always seeking volunteers who are eager to help others learn about scratch cooking, nutrition, and eating well on a budget.
