For many of us, the new year brings new resolutions for our health. Keeping these resolutions, however, can become difficult as we re-enter our busy routines after the holidays. But eating healthy, delicious food does not have to be a burden! In this class, we will discuss topics that will help you achieve your healthy eating goals for 2018. Topics will include meal prepping and healthy snacking. We look forward to teaching you tips and tricks that will help you be the healthiest “you” you can be! Hope to see you there!
The Kitchen at Second Harvest provides nutrition information, scratch cooking skills, budgeting, and more to people in our community who need a little help getting good food on their table and preparing it in an easy, healthful way. When you give people skills and hope along with food, you allow them to look past hunger and toward self-sufficiency. Your support of Second Harvest cooking classes allows our neighbors experiencing hardship to also enjoy a fun, kitchen learning experience at no cost. It's a win-win; you enjoy a hands-on culinary adventure and help move others from hunger to health!
