This after school cooking class is chock full of fun! First, you will make your own buttery soft pretzel from scratch. Class includes grinding your own wheat into flour and creating your own dipping sauce.
While you wait for your pretzel to bake, take a ride on the blender bike. Combing fresh and frozen ingredients learn to make a tropical smoothie, just pour your ingredients into the blender which attaches to the Blender Bike, and ride your way into paradise!
Designed for kids ages 8-12. $20 for class. Limited to 15 per class.
The Kitchen at Second Harvest is dedicated to empowering families by teaching skills to plan, prepare and choose healthy foods. Your class fee gives adults and youth experiencing hardship in our community the opportunity to learn nutrition and cooking skills enabling them to move from hunger to health.
