Learn the basics of sushi making! From cooking rice to cutting fish and vegetables and of course making sushi rolls. This is a demonstration style learning experience with some hands-on components such as rolling your own sushi rolls, with samples included.
The Kitchen at Second Harvest provides nutrition information, scratch cooking skills, budgeting, and more to people in our community who need a little help getting good food on their table and preparing it in an easy, healthful way. When you give people skills and hope along with food, you allow them to look past hunger and toward self-sufficiency. Your support of Second Harvest cooking classes allows our neighbors experiencing hardship to also enjoy a fun, kitchen learning experience at no cost. It's a win-win; you enjoy a hands-on culinary adventure and help move others from hunger to health!
Cancellation Policy: Due to staff time and purchasing of product we are unable to reimburse payment upon cancellation within 72 hours. Also, we are no longer able to move cancellations to future classes. We apologize for any inconvenience.
