March 14th is Pi Day! We are celebrating in The Kitchen by making our own pies.  Come join us and learn how to make delicious hand pies – both sweet and savory - from scratch. They will be sure to impress all who are lucky enough to get a bite!

In this class we will review knife and basic preparation skills needed to cook a variety of dishes at home and then jump into an hour or more of hands on cooking.

This is a hands on class, please wear closed-toe, comfortable shoes and tie long hair back.

Class is for adults but teenagers may attend with a parent or guardian present.

Please arrive to class 10 minutes early and enter the main lobby at the East end of the Second Harvest building.

Also, bring containers to take home any extra food.

Everyone is welcome, we are here to serve people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and incomes.
Please contact Emily Franko at 252-6272 or Email with registration questions.

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO COMMIT TO THIS DATE AND TIME PLEASE WAIT TO SIGN UP UNTIL YOU ARE SURE YOU CAN MAKE IT. WE WANT TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE HAS A CHANCE TO ATTEND THESE CLASSES AND HAVE HAD QUITE A FEW SHORT NOTICE CANCELLATIONS LATELY. IF THE CLASS IS SHOWING FULL PLEASE CALL EMILY TO GET ON A WAITING LIST. THANK YOU!
